Storrs Road Methodist Church has asked us to publicise the 125th Anniversary celebrations of Storrs Road, Methodist Church taking place over the weekend 21st to 23rd February. This is an  important moment in the life of the church and they are extending  a  warm invitation to all of us to give thanks to God for his blessings and to come along and join in their celebratory programme of events.  

 PROGRAMME of EVENTS

 Friday 21st February - the official opening day

       11.00am in the CHURCH CENTRE there will be an exhibition celebrating the Church over the past 125 years. Light refreshments will be served;

       1.45pm The Revd Mark Carrick will ceremonially open the Church Door, symbolic of 125 years, followed by a COMMEMORATIVE ACT of WORSHIP

      3.00pm there will be a VICTORIAN AFTERNOON TEA in the CHURCH CENTRE at a cost of £10.00. Tickets will be available from the end of January by telephoning either Jenny Murphy on 07712 298280 or Maggie Roberts on 07841 860241.
