Our traditional Good Friday Walk of Witness begins as usual at 11am at the Town Hall and finishes outside the Parish Church. The procession stops at several points in New Square and Vicar Lane for a Bible reading and hymn based on Good Friday and there is normally a large wooden cross carried at the head of the procession. An opportunity for contemplation of the price our Saviour paid to set us free and to witness to others what it means to us.
